How do I apply for the Affordability Grant?
There is no need. Once your child registers with us, we register them for the Affordability grant. As such, all families pay either the part-time, 50-100h fee of $230/month or the full-time, 100+h fee of $326.25/month.
Please note families must register for a minimum of 2 days to fulfill the minimum requirements for receiving the Affordability Grants.
Are the registration and pre-paid monthly fees refundable?
Registration fees are non-refundable.
If you need to withdraw your child from our program, you must give thirty (30) days written notice and tuition fees must be paid until the end of the month following the date of withdrawal (e.g. if the date of notice is September 12, tuition must be paid until the end of October). If the withdrawal happens after April 30th, parents must pay the full tuition until the end of the current year.
As concerns the $100 deposit cheque for cleaning, if the child leaves the program before February 1st and the parent has not participated in cleaning, the parent will need to pay $50. If the withdrawal happens after February 1st and the parent has not participated in cleaning, the parent must pay $100.
In the case of the $500 deposit cheque for volunteering, if the child's withdrawal takes place before the end of the year, the parent must have done their volunteer hours or pay $50 for each month their child was enrolled.

Please see our parent handbook. It is important to send a water bottle (no juice boxes) and note that all grapes, cherries, cherry tomatoes and sausages/weiners MUST be cut in half lengthwise.
What happens when my child is sick?
When a child is sick (fever, cough, stomach/headache, runny nose, etc.), the educator immediately alerts the parents or guardians so that they may come and get their child. While waiting for the parents to arrive, the sick child will be removed from the group (but stay under the constant care of an educator.)
Children are not permitted to return to school until they are symptom-free. For children with vomiting or diarrhea, they must be symptom-free for 48 hours before returning to school as per Alberta Health regulations.
